About the Role
You will drive the agenda for attracting investment and strengthening the competitiveness of the organization and its portfolio. From investment strategy to growth initiatives and private-sector partnerships, you will shape the approach that determines whether the organization attracts capital, talent, and innovation.
This is a builder's role for someone with both commercial instinct and strategic depth, equally comfortable engaging an investor, designing an initiative, and benchmarking performance against international peers. You will lead a team and turn ambition for growth into concrete, credible strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Strategy & Promotion
Design and lead investment strategy and promotion priorities.
Identify priority sectors and value propositions to attract high-quality investment.
Engage with investors and partners to understand barriers and opportunities.
Competitiveness & Growth
Identify and advise on initiatives that strengthen competitiveness and the operating environment.
Benchmark competitiveness against regional and international peers and track progress.
Lead work on business development and sector growth strategy.
Partnerships & Advisory
Provide advisory on partnership and co-investment frameworks and opportunities.
Assess the commercial impact and quality of proposed investments and incentives.
Advise leadership on the trade-offs between competing investment and growth priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
Advanced degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years in investment, business development, strategy, or competitiveness-related roles.
Track record of designing strategies that attracted investment or improved business performance.
Familiarity with partnership structures, investor engagement, and deal design.
